Mercury and Pluto are locked in an opposition that warrants a peek into Pandora's box of wonders. What will happen if we think the unthinkable? Utter the unmentionable? Observe the unseeable? Once the box is cracked and one beam of light penetrates the dark, a whole world could be illuminated! Do you dare?
ARIES (March 21-April 19). Opportunity may only knock once, but it never really leaves. It's your constant company. Use your mind's eye to see it. Look for the opportunity in a current dilemma.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Your timing isn't off, but it's not the same as your colleague's timing. Making the effort to get in step with those around you will be much appreciated. You can always return to your own pace tonight!
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Though your manners are impeccable, a challenging situation puts them to an impossible test. You can use your quick reflexes to pull your proverbial foot out of your mouth or save someone else from certain embarrassment.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). Getting rich quick has a bad rap -- it's undeserved. All things being equal, wouldn't it better to get rich now instead of later? Opportunities abound now. All you have to do is a little research.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Whether you stumble upon your happiness or follow a recipe to create it, one thing is certain: You will be happy. You have resolved to be so, and so you shall be.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (May 31). You're living your principles this year. Your relationships reflect the way you feel about yourself. In June, do what makes you feel confident and caring. July brings your heart's desire. There are twists and turns to the career path in September. The result is more brilliant than if you had planned it. You have strong connections with a Scorpio and an Aries. Lucky numbers are: 8, 3, 22, 15 and 19.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). It has been said that there is no love, only acts of love. If this is true, today is the time to show your sweetie you've been listening. Keep this person's special goals and wishes in mind, and find a unique way to support them.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). If getting the job done is your number one priority, guess what? It gets done. Perhaps number two should be having a little fun along the way, but probably that should move up to number one.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). A prophecy will be self-fulfilling. It's not too late, however, to dream up another vision for yourself if you don't like the way the first one is going. Also, you'll be getting to know new people. Reveal yourself slowly.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Dicey subjects come up at work. If you spend time defending your ideas, you look guilty. Instead, don't let conversations drift into dangerous waters. Stay in control.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Loved ones think your attention is a treasured gift, but your neglect is a terrible insult. The friendliness you showed a stranger long ago is now returned and then some.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). If the thing that makes you wealthy makes someone else poor, nobody really wins. Look deeper into financial arrangements to assess the value on all levels.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). With so many delightful distractions around, it's easy to forget where you're going. That's why a serious Capricorn or Virgo is great to have around. These earth signs remind you to work through a problem instead of avoiding it.
ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "My sister and I have the same birthstone; she's a Gemini, and I'm a Cancer. Is there any stone that is just for Gemini, regardless of the month the person was born in? Also, I notice that she copies me a lot lately, and it bothers me. When we were kids it bugged me, too, and I thought she grew out of it, but recently, she bought the same couch as mine for her living room."
Cancer people are so wonderful at decorating! In addition to your sister, the whole world wants to emulate your cozy style. As the twin, Gemini will sometimes copy as a way to feel closer to another person. Try to be big about it. In regard to her birthstone (assuming you want her to have her own that is different than yours), one of the most powerful birthstones for a Gemini is the unusual green stone Chrysoprase. This stone holds no power for any other sun sign except Gemini, but it also has no negative affects on other signs. It can be used to ward off sickness of any kind, but it has the most profound affect on eyesight, improving vision for both afflicted and healthy eyes. Chrysoprase should be worn under layers of clothes and should never be exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: Making it big in Hollywood is never easy, and neither is snaring one of its most notorious bachelors, but to the elegant Gemini Annette Bening, these types of challenges do not faze. Married for over 14 years to Warren Beatty and the mother of four children, Bening innately understands the duality of being a true Gemini, balancing family and career ever so carefully.

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)
We call it insight, you call it what you will. | |

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
