The Leo moon kicks off the weekend feeling early, even though many people didn't start the workweek until Tuesday. It's an undeniably summer state of mind, even though summer officially hasn't even started yet. The Leo moon says: Wear your party attire to work, and you'll and breeze through the day as though you were actually at one.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). Something strange happens at work. Your subordinates, clients and customers will obediently fulfill whatever prophesy you project onto them. This should be motivation to keep it positive.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). The passion welling up in you makes you feel simultaneously totally alive and a little out of control. Try to at least show up to work, even though you'll feel like talking on the phone to your loved one the whole time.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Your influence is strong. You're looked at as an example, and others will model your behavior. What beautiful, selfless and energetic action can you take to show your loved ones how much they mean to you?
CANCER (June 22-July 22). Your schedule needs fine-tuning. More time to yourself is a must for happy relationships. By making an effort to get back in balance, your love life hums in perfect harmony with the rest of your life.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Steer clear of the sort of tension that could leave a co-worker feeling spurned or under appreciated. Bruised egos are no small matter. This evening, you're a hit. Entertain the crowd by adding your own dramatic flair to activities.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (June 1). You're a giver, and this year, life gives back to you more than you need, want or can ever use. The dreams you share with loved ones this month turn into a bona fide project or business. By August, you've had a career makeover. Your exceptional taste in friends is cause for many happy events through the fall. Taurus and Virgo people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 52, 10, 31, 14 and 25.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You can be proud of the relationships you've built. Even when there are glitches (it happens to everyone once in a while), you work them out and are stronger than ever because of the effort.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Certain elements must be in place for a project to work. Entirely different elements must be in place for you to feel good about it. There's a way to fulfill all requirements. Ask for advice from a mentor.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Nothing ventured, nothing gained, but sometimes "venturing" requires very little activity. Today's venturing is sitting quietly, breathing deeply and simply imagining your goal until it's real to you.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Creating things of beauty is not only a hobby of yours, it's a purpose -- and a lucrative one, at that. You'll be exhilarated by the closing of a deal. A Taurus is a hot lead.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). The stars highlight your adventurous mood. What you do to spice up your life also raises your energy. This higher-intensity version of you will attract like personalities, especially a fascinating Sagittarius.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Your improvement mission continues. You'll notice the details of your surroundings. Admire them. Try not to nitpick about the little things that are out of place -- it will upset the love boat!
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). The gurus agree -- doing nothing is difficult. Not thinking is harder than thinking. If you want things to stay how they are, things have to change. Fortunately, you're the grand master of paradox.
ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "I'm a Cancer mother with a one-year-old child. Many of my friends with children are puzzled by my parenting habits -- I don't have a crib because I co-sleep with my child. I don't like the high chair because I like to hold her while she eats. I plan to nurse her until she weens herself. I don't read the parenting books. I feel fine about my choices until I get to the playground, and the other mothers fill my head with ideas and advice. My baby is doing great, but the other moms treat me like I don't know what I'm doing. What do you think?"
Cancer is the sign of the mother, and mothers who're Cancers are wise to follow their innate knowledge instead of conforming to social norms. Motherhood is such a personal journey, different for every single mother and child. Your friends not only don't have a clue about what's right for you, they're most likely acting out of a fear that your choices will make them look like bad mothers. For instance, if you nurse longer, does that mean that they didn't nurse long enough? Stop worrying. Many of the methods and opinions you described aren't uncommon. My advice is to keep doing what you're doing, with one exception: Find a new playground.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: He's a veritable bad boy, but that's why movie fans adore the devilishly handsome Colin Farrell. Geminis spend a great deal of time in their heads, which is why Farrell's such a believable actor. He's not pretending or playing a role -- he's exploring his own intellect. I predict Farrell's smart turn in the upcoming film version of "Miami Vice" will catapult him to even greater heights of stardom.

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
