Today marks the start of an ongoing conversation between love planet Venus and that Mac Daddy Jupiter. The lesson they have to teach is one of moderation. While a little of something good is beautiful, a lot of it can be garish. Likewise, too much attention and affection sometimes causes people to run away, instead of toward, the source of it.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). Since you're fast approaching something you want, it's time to imagine past it. While your body needs air, water and food, your soul needs a vision. Something compelling to look forward to is your soul's life "blood."

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). The person who is smiling at you is not doing so because he or she is merely friendly. The stars highlight what is so interesting about you. People you meet want to know more.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). End relationships that are going nowhere. Make room for something better, and new options appear immediately. It's notable: A Taurus is solid and will be very loyal to you.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). Plot your own course. You're so independent and forward thinking, your ideas attract followers. You could start a revolution! Travel and long-distance relationships prove worth the effort.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Your creativity reaches new heights, even though youíre the only one who knows it. Celebrate a job well done. (This might be a party for one, and all the better for you.)

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (June 2). This year, you plant the acorn seeds that grow the mighty oaks of your life -- meaningful relationships, a purposeful career and bountiful financial resources. June brings important learning. A fun-filled July is encouraging on many levels. One special individual changes how you see yourself! You have sensational connections with a Libra and an Aquarius. Your lucky numbers are: 6, 14, 31, 33 and 28.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Your brisk and deliberate action earns the respect of someone whoís hard to win over. (That person might be you.) Also, if you dare to let young ones do their own thing, they make you proud.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). When in doubt, hire a professional, preferably with the proper credentials. The planets suggest that there're trustworthy souls all around you, and you'll effortlessly attract the right one.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Though you hate to admit it, you're human, and you need love. So relax your critical mind -- let your Scorpio stinger rest. The quickest way to get the love you need is to allow yourself to give without judgment.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). By holding on too tightly to a deal, you could lose it. Notice all your options, not only the one in your hand. This will bolster your confidence, boost your finances and pump up your attraction quotient.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). The omens suggest you turn up your powers of discernment. Lies may have temporary influence, but truth has super power. No matter how speedy a lie is, the truth will catch up.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). You feel you're waiting. You're not, because the anticipation of the event IS the event. The metaphorical line you're standing on is not a "line" at all, but a circle. The one who is first might be last, and the last one might be first.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You'll meet people you've met before, see things you've seen before and say words you've said before. Yet, it's all different now. What does it mean? You have to dig deep to find the connection, but it's there.

WEEKEND LOVE FORECAST: Lady Venus is right at home in Taurus. The "pretty" is spread so thick, it would be hard to miss. Look around. There's beauty everywhere! ARIES: Can anyone to measure up to your expectations of love this weekend? TAURUS: You're so attractive that instead of choosing from an array of offers, you could stay home to avoid hurting anyone's feelings. GEMINI: The cyclical nature of your love life is highlighted -- the end of one era is the beginning of another. CANCER: You sniff out ulterior motives and can spot a fake from a mile away. So, when it's the real deal, you know. LEO: Your intensity is matched by the brave and free -- exactly your type. VIRGO: When you stop worrying about what's going on in your love life, it starts to become the heaven it was meant to be. LIBRA: The kindest thing to do for your ex-love/stalker is to ignore him or her until the problem goes away. SCORPIO: Savor the fun, and it just keeps coming. SAGITTARIUS: The best dates include trendy locations and novelty. CAPRICORN: You're ready to meet the folks, or, if you've already met them, be accepted in a deeper way. AQUARIUS: Fellow air signs (Gemini and Libra) embrace you. PISCES: What you're looking for is poetry in motion, and you just may find it.

COUPLE OF THE WEEKEND: Aries and Taurus are like a stick of dynamite and a match. The result of the union is usually explosive. The explosion can be used in a productive way (as in blowing apart the rock in order to build a bridge or propelling a rocket to go to the moon), or it can be plain destructive. The key for them is careful communication and also to find a shared passion to direct their boundless energy toward.

FullMetal Alchemist (48)

FullMetal Alchemist"Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth."

3 Wise-asses (15)

3wiseassesWe're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!) We call it insight, you call it what you will.

Ravings, rantings, and gibberish. (36)

DrewWhat is up FoCo? I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado. I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks. Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know! --Drew
