The on-set scuffle between two stars of "Grey's Anatomy" has lead to a public apology from actor Isaiah Washington, who clashed with co-star Patrick Dempsey.
"I sincerely regret my actions and the unfortunate use of words during the recent incident on (the) set," the 43-year-old actor said in a statement to People magazine. "Both are beneath my own personal standards. ... I have nothing but respect for my co-workers ... and have apologized personally to everyone involved."

THE FIGHT
The magazine, citing a source on the set, reported Wednesday on its Web site that when actor T.R. Knight was late to film a scene, a debate ensued between Dempsey and Washington.
Dempsey insisted on waiting for Knight and an argument quickly intensified. People reported that an alleged homophobic slur was used, but Knight wasn't present.
Washington plays Dr. Preston Burke and Dempsey, 40, plays Dr. Derek Shepherd on the ABC drama. Knight, 33, plays an intern, Dr. George O'Malley.
The clash occurred Oct. 9 and Knight revealed Oct. 19 that he is gay.
MOVING ON
"Differences are inevitable," Washington's publicist, Cynthia Snyder, said in a recent statement. "They were aired, resolved and everyone has moved on."
Shonda Rhimes, creator of the show, also downplayed the incident. It "was 4 1/2 seconds of one day in three years," she told People. "I feel like we've already moved on."

Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
