Mercury and Jupiter provide the soundtrack for today -- they're a tight act, offsetting each other's tones, creating a complementary pattern. The song is about how natural it is for one hand to wash the other, how it's safe to want and acceptable to ask for what you want. Helping one another is a human need. Put these concepts to the test.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). As the babe of the zodiac, sensual curiosity is your primal state. The newness of wind chimes, the sun through curtains, the smell of baking -- it all intrigues and inspires you as if you had never before seen civilization.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). The wheels of your mind spin and whir as you contemplate new ways to earn your daily wage. Maybe by making people laugh. Maybe by feeding their bellies with fine food or perking their ears to your encouraging words.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). You're the bringer of surprises, the one who keeps everyone anticipating -- but anticipating what? Only you would know, but you don't know, either. It's like you're channeling the astonishing essence of summer itself.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). You, like the water your sign takes after, can be weak and submissive if that's what is called for. You can also be powerful, life giving, destructive, playful and transformative ... and woe to the one who tries to contain you.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). The planets whisper to you, reminding you of the basics: Life is a miracle. Love is a miracle. You're a miracle. So you don't have to (SET ITAL) do (END ITAL) anything. Luminously (SET ITAL) be (END ITAL).
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (June 9). Love surrounds you this year. People you know, and people you don't, send adoring vibrations your way. The result is a significant healing by the start of July. An exceptional work effort this month secures your future. October brings money luck. Speak your truth in November -- you'll be surprised at who responds! Virgo and Scorpio people give you their hearts. Lucky numbers are: 20, 1, 29, 43 and 49.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). It seems everyone wants you to buy into what they're selling. You'll watch in amusement at the parade of characters sent to solicit you for everything from credit cards to candy bars. Keep your money in your pocket.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). You harmonize with the day as if it were made of music. You're a master mixer, pulling out the warm tones that make you want to bob your head and groove your spirit.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You're busy making commitments, proving your loyalty and giving selflessly. Take care of yourself, too -- first, if you dare! Relay your needs, and then stand back and be amazed at how they're met.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Your budget impacts your schedule today. If you had the money, you'd be miles away from your job site. The secret is that your heart is restored and your brain re-created by what you call "work."
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Saying what is on your mind doesn't always bring happy results, but it will today. Lightly airing a grievance brings healing to a relationship. The "lightly" part will be key.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Deep inside you is that being who wants to strut. Modesty has overruled the poor, proud creature for so long that you may think your body has forgotten how to strut. It hasn't. Dare to let your inner peacock out!
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). The situation in your personal life, when properly dealt with, affects far more people than just you. When you're loving, satisfied, communicative, generous and principled, your actions improve the whole world.
WEEKEND LOVE FORECAST: The Sagittarius moon says love is not only out there for you, it's FAR out there for you. Keep going the distance, emotionally or physically, until you find it. ARIES: You emanate a heartfelt, engaging vibration. TAURUS: Usually, you're the stabilizing force for others. This weekend, you'll meet someone with the power to return you to center. GEMINI: Your eyes see only the love your mind can accept. Work on believing strongly that you're loved! CANCER: Ban "coulda-wouldas" from your life. Act immediately on romantic impulses. LEO: Energy and enthusiasm mark this weekend. Others find that being around you has the affect of five cups of coffee. VIRGO: Look for cracks in the facade of romance -- this allows you to get closer and more real to those you love. LIBRA: Surprising events help you break the trance of a relationship. Now you can reveal the true you. SCORPIO: Heavenly events transpire. Of course, they're only heavenly if you choose to experience them as such. SAGITTARIUS: You'll see why your first impression of someone was so correct. CAPRICORN: Saying "no" allows you to say "yes" to what you really want. AQUARIUS: It's not fair how attractive you are. PISCES: Take it slow! Trust is built over time.
COUPLE OF THE WEEKEND: Taurus and Libra are Venus-ruled sweeties, drawn to beauty and refinement, enticed by luxury. With Venus in common, they make the ideal vacation team, eager to see, hear, feel and taste all that a new location has to offer. Jupiter opposes their ruling sign now, so they may be faced with the challenge of living well on a shoestring budget, which they'll do together with magical ease.

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)
We call it insight, you call it what you will. | |

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
