As I sit in my shadowy room,
and wait for morning to appear.
with stubborn fingers the keys I use,
darkened secrets to explore.
for as I sit here in my room,
surrounded & shielded is as it does.
draws dark and empty late at night,
mind wandering evermore.
I lean back and take a breath,
staring out into this space.
Of timelessness and loneliness,
my life seems out of place.
so I look inside my heart,
but finding no answers there.
and clicking in to the Internet,
to ease my deepening despair.
knowledge can be my answer,
can make me dream again.
and take me to a better place,
to a place I've never been.
So connect with me if you dare,
across this electric medium.
And take a chance to learn some more,
thenever you thought and dreamed.
And Dance away the loneliness,
the brooding wasteful lies.
Trust your love for life,
to guide you on your way.
Share your thoughts your dreams,
your hopes and love.
Forever dream the dream.

I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
