Venus steps into her favorite vacation spot — the adventure land of Sagittarius. While she's exploring this realm over the next month or so, she revels in the excitement of other cultures, the promise of novel delights and the seduction of secret knowledge. Through art, music and travel, you can join her celebration!
ARIES (March 21-April 19). You know exactly what you have to offer and exactly what you want. This sets the scene for barter, trade and all kinds of negotiations. The wackiest trade is the one you'll be the most proud of.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). The best way to get what you want isn't necessarily the first one that comes to mind. Use that wild imagination of yours! Tonight brings exactly the kind of challenge you love.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). The insights others offer may sound like old news, but there's a reason you keep hearing the same advice. Consider that "they" might actually be right.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). You get a rare chance to spend time with people who'll bring you back to your roots. There's nothing quite like the comfort you feel around those who know you well.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). You can turn around a case of the doldrums by hanging out with the celebrity of your family or office -- wait, that's you. It's up to you to entertain the troops. You lift spirits wherever you go.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (Nov. 17). Your momentum is strong. This year you are too big-hearted to be easily offended and way too busy to get knocked off course by minor distractions. The final weeks of the year bring new opportunity for love and connection. A trip in February amps up your earning potential. Give yourself time off in March. Gemini and Libra people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 9, 36, 2, 19 and 50.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). The stars highlight your growing need for emotional intimacy, and also your ability to ask for it. Though you fear rejection, you move forward anyway. You'll ultimately be fulfilled.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). The success of a project depends on how well you promote yourself. This can be done in a subtle way, through your confident manner and a few well-chosen words. You don't have to push.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You can't be too prepared on this roller coaster ride of a day. Double your chances of luck by having backup plans for everything. This allows you to commit with confidence to your original plan.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). You're going through a growth spurt in your personal life. Small victories hold the exhilaration of childhood accomplishment. Your heart sings out, "Hey, Mom, look at me!"
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Your idea of fun is all your own, so don't be surprised if you wind up doing something different from what the group is doing. Spend time with people who "get" you -- like Leo and Scorpio people.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). The lesson is: You can't take things at face value. Get the whole story from loved ones, colleagues and customers. To act on sketchy information would only be a waste of precious time.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). The universe bestows blessings on your domestic life. You're lucky when you focus on the people you love. You're the center of their world, so set your example mindfully.
WEEKEND LOVE FORECAST: Venus heads into Sagittarius, and Mercury ends its retrograde -- both aspects bode well for an exciting and romantic weekend.
- ARIES: You're willing to travel for love.
- TAURUS: You reconnect with loved ones by finding common ground.
- GEMINI: Talk about the issues. Whether it's where to go on your next vacation or when to start a family, you find a workable compromise.
- CANCER: A certain someone who's been giving you the cold shoulder will now be more receptive to your warm and friendly vibe.
- LEO: You're very insightful, and loved ones trust you more than anyone.
- VIRGO: If someone thinks you will be open to the truth, that's what he or she will tell you.
- LIBRA: Loved ones may overstep boundaries, believing that your best interest is at stake.
- SCORPIO: Practice accepting people for their current limitations -- and recognizing strengths, too.
- SAGITTARIUS: You're emboldened by the stars. Go ask someone to dance.
- CAPRICORN: Never mind the romantic competition. It's when you're up against someone outstanding that you make your best move.
- AQUARIUS: You're in the mood to play games — your love prospect may not be.
- PISCES: Unconventional types draw you in, but learn all you can about them before you get too deep.
COUPLE OF THE WEEKEND: The connection between Scorpio and Libra people can be too close for comfort — but sometimes discomfort is what it takes to be a more fully realized human. And isn't that what love should do for us? These neighbors of the zodiac are both feeling "hot" this weekend and will attract more than their share of attention. Together they discover the nature of love and have a lot of fun in the process.

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)
We call it insight, you call it what you will. | |

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
