The morning moon is void, of course. What better way to celebrate the man of the house than to kick back and enjoy a much-needed and very relaxing lull in the action? In the p.m., the Aries moon takes over with a spurt of boyish energy. There will be showing off for dear old pop in the form of gifts, many of which were purchased at the last second.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). Being truthful with loved ones is different from telling every thought and feeling that runs through your head. Choose your moments, and be selective about the information you'll impart.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). The fairy tales are true -- the dragons exist, and you'll find evidence of it today. The best part is, the dragons can also be slayed. You're the brave soul who will save the "village."

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Everything is more vivid when you're in love. Even though you may not have been in love before you read this, the stars suggest you fall in love just for the fun of it and watch the world get clearer.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). This morning seems custom-built for wasting time. Of course, if you enjoy what you're doing while the time slips by, it's not really wasted. In spite of yourself, at the end of the day, you'll have created something important.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Fate may very well be pointing you in a direction.  However, the stars will yield to your will. If you decide to be someone, that is the same thing as being destined to be that person.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (June 18). You have a sense for your bottom line in all things this year, which keeps you from getting snagged in unimportant details and time-wasters. In general, you know where you're going and get there fast! Friends help you immensely this month and next -- payback for all your past kindnesses. Aries and Scorpio people are wonderful partners for anything. Lucky numbers are: 7, 2, 54, 19 and 40.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Magical moments happen anywhere and everywhere when you're with someone you like immensely. If you can't be with this person today, your time is well-spent generating some good karma for yourself.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). The squeaky wheel always gets the grease, and this is your day to squeak! It's not complaining if you're asking for what you need. Concentrate on public relations tonight -- it's all how you spin the story.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). A fantastic idea strikes you. Even if you think it's been done before, you're in a prime position to offer a unique take. Pisces people in particular like the way you think.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). What you want appears to you like a target -- the bull's-eye has your name on it. Take your time, steady your aim. It also helps to tune out the rest of the world so you can focus.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Temptation strikes. Whether it takes the form of a romantic encounter, jelly donut or shopping spree, you can't keep your mind off your object of obsession. Take a mini-break and indulge.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Your altruism drives you, heart first, into new situations. You really can do something to improve conditions for yourself, your community and the world at large. Believe it, because it's true!

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). A project left undone is a quiet energy drain. A Leo or a Sagittarius can help you remember that initial spark that got you so excited! You'll make money later from anything you finish now.

FORECAST FOR THE WEEK AHEAD: Though many of us broke out the shorts and bathing suits weeks ago, on Wednesday, the sun floats from the air sign of the Gemini twins to the sea of Cancer, the crab -- a passage called the summer solstice. Ancient peoples celebrated this time in a variety of ways: In prehistoric Europe, Stonehenge was built in perfect alignment to greet the midsummer sunrise. The ancient Chinese honored feminine, or yin, energy. Germanic tribes danced around bonfires. In Rome, the goddess Vesta gave the OK for married women to enter her temple. For modern humans, it's a time to let loose, smell salty sea air, take off a layer or two of clothing and get back in touch with the sun. It's an excellent opportunity to enjoy the rituals of boating, sunbathing, late-night socializing and travel. On a spiritual level, by doing something vacation-like, we have a different perspective on who we are and how we feel. Cancer rules feelings, and emotions will seem to hit more extreme highs and lows over the next few weeks, or perhaps we're only now noticing those impulses and vibrations running between our heads and hearts, then outward, that were there all along.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: It takes chutzpah to represent the only female energy wedged between two extremely male hotheads, but "American Idol" judge Paula Abdul has never shied away from a challenge. From Los Angeles "Laker Girl" to famed choreographer to pop superstar, Ms. Abdul leads with a sweet and sincere demeanor. Gemini style is lighthearted, and this sign doesn't easily take offense.

FullMetal Alchemist (48)

FullMetal Alchemist"Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth."

3 Wise-asses (15)

3wiseassesWe're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!) We call it insight, you call it what you will.

Ravings, rantings, and gibberish. (36)

DrewWhat is up FoCo? I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado. I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks. Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know! --Drew
