The Sagittarius solar mission is underway. There's a phrase for each zodiac sign, and the one associated with Sagittarius is "I perceive." This is the time of year to expose yourself to new perceptions, open your mind and really soak them in. This practice increases your productivity, since it's impossible to reflect out what was never absorbed.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). States of mind are infectious. It feels as though someone else's feelings, desires or hang-ups have been transferred to you. But what you do with this is totally unique.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You radiate maturity. You let others need you instead of needing them. For this reason, you're chosen for an important job or taken into a powerful person's confidence.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Life is guesswork. You'll guess wrong a few times today, but so what? So you don't get what you expect, and life is much more interesting because of this!
CANCER (June 22-July 22). It's a simple but spiritual time for you. You're not alone -- even when you are, technically, alone. You're swimming in an ocean of living energy and in constant communication with all of the forces around you.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). The stars favor your financial dealings, especially if they involve the far-off future. Time is the most important factor in your financial plan. Figure out a way to make time work for you by stashing a little money away every day.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (Nov. 24). Your open mind accepts that there's more magic in your life than you've been willing to look at before now. Seeing beauty creates more of it. Love takes your heart to new places in December. (You'll be physically traveling in May and July.) A career change in January alters your domestic environment. You're comfy with Cancer and Libra people. Your lucky numbers are: 9, 20, 41, 37 and 2.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You want to take care of everyone, but sooner or later everyone has to learn to take care of themselves. You can, however, help by teaching others practical and spiritual steps.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). You're embracing what's new and different. It keeps you alive and fresh! After all, active change prevents the passive change of gravity exerting its heavy plan.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Just as you slip into a familiar rhythm, something startles you out of it. This is the way genius gets born. Your inventive mind needs a wake-up call every now and again -- the stars provide it.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). If someone has the nerve to enter into your private life, learn your secret or mentally pluck a molecule from your spirit, you'll enjoy them more. You're at ease with audacity.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). You get so wrapped up in what you know and what's normal to you that you may mistakenly assume that your way is normal to everyone. It's not. You're fascinating, especially to a Pisces or Taurus person.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). You're busy with the business of making your deeds as dashing and chivalrous as possible. In other words, living large. All your risk taking is attractive to a conservative person.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You voice a happy tone in spite of inconvenience or discomfort. It's like you're singing in the rain. It's just one of the ways you enforce and nurture your outstanding character.
WEEKEND LOVE FORECAST: The Sagittarius sun pushes us out the door and into the world for new spices to add to our love soup.
- ARIES: Being in love keeps you up at night, a head full of ideas that may or may not be true.
- TAURUS: Your traditional approach to dating is officially stale. Get new information and a different approach.
- GEMINI: When you spend time with your crush, it becomes less of a crush and more of an actual relationship.
- CANCER: You make initial contact. It's all-important. However it goes, the rest of the relationship follows suit.
- LEO: Avoid even mentioning your "ex." At all.
- VIRGO: You're down to earth, sincere and funny. What more could a partner want? You're perfect!
- LIBRA: You and a partner have differing ideas about what's romantic -- go with your partner's idea.
- SCORPIO: Little gestures tell on you. When you love someone, you can't help but give this person your undivided attention.
- SAGITTARIUS: You watch for a signal to proceed in love, and you're very successful because you're willing to wait.
- CAPRICORN: When you're comfortable, you can enjoy yourself. So get comfortable. Let yourself warm into romantic situations.
- AQUARIUS: Love feels like a bungee jump.
- PISCES: Friendship is the anchor that keeps a romance alive and well.
COUPLE OF THE WEEKEND: There's a bit of a rub between zodiac neighbors Sagittarius and Scorpio. Sometimes it's contentious friction, and other times, like this weekend, it's delicious friction -- the stuff chick flicks are made of. You don't have to believe the same things to fall deeply in love. Arguing can be courtship, as long as neither takes the subject too seriously. This weekend, they play love like a game.

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)
We call it insight, you call it what you will. | |

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
