The Aquarius moon promises this is a social weekend, filled with laughter, weird connections and interesting links. You'll find you have the oddest things in common with people who seem, on the surface, to be nothing like you. Also, it's easier to talk to people — knowing them isn't a prerequisite to having a decent conversation.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). You're willing to fight for the top position. Not because you think you're better than anyone else, nor because you think you deserve it. You simply know that is where you belong.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You may notice for the first time that you're involved in a task that isn't worthy of you. List the pros and cons of the situation on paper, and seriously look it over.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Though you have nothing against peace and quiet, it's a state that doesn't readily occur in your usual life. That's why today's unexpected silence is rare and beautiful.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). Your moods can swing widely -- one moment you are solid as a rock, and the next, you're rather high-strung and sensitive. This unpredictability is part of what makes you so attractive.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). You have a strong opinion that is best not shared. Loved ones need to come to their own conclusions, and they will when you give them necessary space. Ultimately you'll be happy you showed your love in this way.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (Nov. 25). Welcome to your year of discovery. One truth after another is revealed to you through the next 10 weeks. Then it's your pleasure to apply what you've learned in inventive ways. In February your lifestyle improves in a leap. Another jump in your career sector helps build your confidence in April. There's a sweet connection with Libra and Aquarius people. Lucky numbers are: 7, 30, 44, 25 and 28.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). It's merely a habit of mind that perceives a relationship as an owned thing. But of course, all relationships are co-owned. You'll be surprised at what a partner does to demonstrate this point.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). You can deliberate for hours about how to solve a problem. Or you can look around and use the first thing that catches your eye as your impromptu solution. Then spend the rest of your day roller-skating.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Your lightening-up process continues. Things disappear because you give them away, throw them away or lose them -- intentionally or unintentionally, it's all good.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Your social role is changing. You could be elected to a post, step down from one, or accept or decline a nomination. It's not about how others see you. It's about what service you can provide.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Forgetfulness is a challenge now. Actually, it happens because you're remembering too many other things. Did you know that the human brain can store up to 280 quintillion bits of memory?
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). The stars show you making an entrance. There's a fine line between a clever gimmick or attention grabber and a ploy that gets all the wrong kind of attention. Test your ideas out first with your trusted few.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Dumb mistakes happen. To everyone. But it doesn't negate your natural essence. Are you a genius? Yes! Know this -- take it to the very core of your being, and your performance takes a turn for the better.
ASTROLOGICAL POEMS: My mentor, Joyce Jillson, was collaborating with me on a series of love poems before she passed in 2004. Joyce spoke one for each sign over music, to mesmerizing effect. Here is part of her poetic love note to Capricorn.
When you scaled the mountain, when you conquered the pain
and you looked below at the highs and lows
like old acquaintances the valley and planes are distant faded memories
it's important to remember, every road leads to your destination.
So take your shoes off, kick up your heels, love the music,
live for the moment, give up reality, you're the one making it real,
why not make it rapture?
You are children's laughter and ageless expressions of glee
but that doesn't make it hard to see, you are still the final authority
ruling with kindness, like God, the pope, the president, and mom.
Lead us back to the paradise song
you are the Garden of Eden revisited
CELEBRITY PROFILES: Perky platinum actress Christina Applegate has a bodacious Sagittarius sun and moon in brainy, friendly Aquarius. Her 20-plus years in Hollywood, from the mega sitcom "Married with Children" to hilarious stints in films such as "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy," prove Applegate has comedic chops, but Mars in Pisces foretells a dramatic role will one day bring her the highest acclaim.

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)
We call it insight, you call it what you will. | |

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
