Motorhome makes a pit stop at Road 34 |

 Fort Collins band Motorhome, along with Doctor Skoob, will perform at the Road 34 Bike Shop and Bar in Fort Collins on Saturday, Nov. 11.
The band, which was started in 2004 by Fort Collins residents Matt Thornton and Matt Mahern, has recently gained momentum and recognition in the community.
The duo, who play guitar, sing and write the songs, lead the five-member band that has opened for other local acts like Green Lemon and The Legendary Shack Shakers.
Dr. Skoob is a band out of Texas that combines funky Americana with folk rock.

Reggae Night, featuring The Disciples, RC Dub and DubSkin, is Friday, Nov. 10.
The Disciples is a reggae band popular on the UK Dub scene whose sound revolves around new and old Jamaican roots music. RC Dub is a five-piece dub reggae group out of Lincoln, Neb., that produces music inspired by the styles of dub, ska, rocksteady and jazz. | Only registered users can write comments.

I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
