The moon is void of course before shifting into the realm of spiritual Pisces. It's a day of transitions — and some of us are better in a state of flux than others! If you know you have a tendency to resist change, baby yourself. Indulge in those little things that give you comfort. Surround yourself with warm, nurturing people.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). Maybe Dad was wrong. Maybe money does grow on trees, at least metaphorically. You'll be planting money-tree seeds now and watching them develop over the next three months.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). What happens this morning isn't an oracle or bellwether for how the rest of your day will go. One tone all day would bore you anyhow. You're more productive for the variation.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). People are buying what you're selling today. This evening provides you help with the conundrum of your romantic life. The answer is simple, as most good answers are.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). Work projects are like a hike through the woods. Suddenly, this afternoon, the pitch of the trail you're on seems to shift beneath your feet. It's a comfortable downhill run from there.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Whether by constant vigilance or natural stamina, you prevail over the workload that's been building on your desk or your list for several weeks now. Keep it up. You're becoming more powerful every day.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (Nov. 27). The wonderful associations you make this year will sustain you emotionally for years to come. You go into relationships filled with belief, and they don't disappoint you. There's a wisdom, though not readily apparent, to your career and financial decisions in January. Time proves it. You share a special tie with Aries and Libra people. Your lucky numbers are: 8, 2, 14, 39 and 53.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You continue the trek toward your promised land (which, by the way, is a totally different place from someone else's promised land, so you don't have to worry about competition).
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Why be judgmental when you can be fun? It's too tiring to analyze every person and each piece of information you come across. Feel your way through instead. Tonight features a surprise coincidental meeting.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). At some point, planning becomes another excuse to put off doing. You'll never feel sufficiently ready to start your dream project or, for that matter, get married or have a baby or move. So just dive in.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Your work has lost its charge. It's time to remind yourself of your original desire. Make a list that answers the question, "Why this?" The exercise is most effective when you get nerdily detailed.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). When condensed into story form, today's events are downright funny. Get your facts straight so that later, around the dinner table, you can sufficiently distort them.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Activity is pleasant. Inactivity is peaceful. It's the transition between the two states that you have trouble with now. Being comfortable in your own skin is a skill you'll continue to cultivate.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You're a bit of a daredevil now. You could do something thrilling and dangerous — like make eye contact with someone while you're stuck in traffic. Be forewarned: A Scorpio person takes this as an invitation.
ASTROLOGICAL POEMS: My mentor Joyce Jillson was collaborating with me on a series of love poems before she passed in 2004. Joyce spoke one for each sign over music, to mesmerizing effect. Here is part of her poetic love note to Aquarius.
What is inside Pandora's Box?
You there, you dare to take a peek
Aquarius, companion and friend, first to get the invitation
Your free-flowing exchange of ideas creates a buzz of anticipation
What will you think of next? Expert provocateur,
Master of intrigue, Polaroid of pleasure
The Cosmic Riddle, Theory of Strings
Numerology and all the collective consciousness brings
Wave of the future, leader of the scene
Sign of altruism and new beginnings
Sui generis — one of a kind.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: Fortunately for Sagittarius superstar Britney Spears, one of the most-watched women in the world, she sincerely enjoys the spotlight. In fact, like many thrill-seeking Sagittarian women, she loves it. Motherhood to baby sons Sean Preston and Jayden James has only put the glowing Spears more in touch with her feelings, which consistently tell her that center stage is where she belongs. | Only registered users can write comments. | | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth."
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)
We call it insight, you call it what you will.

| | Hola Amigos! I'm Sandra. I like to believe that people are 70 percent good and 30 percent dumb. I'm stickin to that story. Reading this blog might make you want to be good, but probably just dumb. | |

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!

| | My name is Michelle Turley and I'm 28 years old. I live in Severance with my hubbie, Brandon. We have 2 dogs and a cat. We enjoy camping, four-wheeling, and just being in the mountains. I like to cook, clean (go figure), flea market, and play poker. I have so much to say about poker... | |
