PlayStation 3 arrives to long lines at Japanese stores |

 Sony's PlayStation 3 is available in Japan.
The Saturday debut marks the first launch of what is expected to become a global sellout. Customers lined up for several hours around Bic Camera, an electronics retailer in downtown Tokyo, to get their hands on one of the video game consoles. It sold out even before the store opened at 7 a.m., and buyers were turned away.
 "Standing in line today is the only way to make sure I got one," said Takayuki Sato, 30.
Sony Corp. managed to have only 100,000 of the game consoles ready for the Japanese debut because of production problems.
DEBUTING ELSEWHERE
PlayStation 3 goes on sale in the United States on Nov. 17. About 400,000 consoles will be available. The sale date for Europe has been pushed back to March.

I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
