 U2 has won a court battle with a former stylist it claimed had taken memorabilia without permission.
Lola Cashman had claimed U2's Bono gave her several items as gifts during the Irish rock band's Joshua Tree tour in 1987, including a iconic Stetson hat, a pair of metal earrings, a green sweatshirt and a pair of black trousers. U2 disputed that, and filed a lawsuit after she tried to sell the clothes and photos at a London auction house in 2002.
THE RULING
Judge Michael Peart ruled that on the balance of probability, the items had not been given to Cashman as she had claimed.

I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
