Mercury, the messenger, and Mars, the warrior, are getting too close for comfort. It's all right, though -- neither planet puts much stock in comfort. According to these characters, "saying" and "doing" take precedence over "feeling." If their bias shows up in your life, try and find a balance. Let your emotions take up space.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). Ideas abound, work is fun, everything flows. Open up the window and shout "Wowie!" out to the big world. When you celebrate times like these, they come more often.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). A powerball statement gets tossed to you. What you do with the information is interesting -- not what you would have done yesterday, that's for sure. You're using everything to your advantage.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). The pieces to today's puzzle are all scrambled and not fitting. You could pound things into place with your body or think them into place with your mind, but the easiest way is to feel it out until you get that "click."
CANCER (June 22-July 22). Happy endings usually occur when the beginning is also pretty upbeat. So that situation that is a downer from the get-go is not going to wind up any better. Drop it now.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). When you're in a good mood, everyone hums to your tune. But if, this afternoon, you find yourself in a sour mood, it's better not to leave the house until you've coaxed yourself back into a sweet one.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (Dec. 1). What a testament you are to your family. This year you take whatever legacy you were given and spiff it up until it shines. Accolades and applause follow! The winter smiles on your romantic realm. Your tenderness is appreciated. A February investment pays so well! Gemini and Aquarius people are contributors to your bottom line. You lucky numbers are: 45, 21, 16, 25 and 37.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Though you think it's going to be hard to get out of today's challenge, it really doesn't have to be. It's as easy as changing your focus. You just decide what to focus on and look there.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). From the appearance of things, you've been here before. But appearances deceive. The situation is different now. A strange question arises. Your answer is spontaneous and also correct.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). The planets challenge your ability to remain secure and true in the face of temptation. Your action tonight warrants a pat on the back, even if you have to do it yourself.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). You believe in sharing and diplomacy as much as the next person. But sometimes you just have to do things your way. This is one of those times. Be swift and decisive.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). When you go about your routine with loving thoughts, the work falls into place. Still, it's too much for one person. Let everyone know what you need, and people jump to help.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). There are no bad guys. And once you accept that terribly flawed person, faults and all, you can more readily accept yourself. Of course, it's more fun and, ultimately, more useful just to start with you.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). One of love's paradoxes is that it demands plenty of freedom in order to feel completely committed. Fellow water signs can help you out with money, love or both -- that's Cancer and Scorpio people.
WEEKEND LOVE FORECAST:
ARIES: While seeking love and encouragement, you'll wind up inspiring someone else.
TAURUS: Your choice is between a good reputation and a good time.
GEMINI: Though you flash your winning smile, inside, you may be stewing over something that happened many moons ago.
CANCER: You know how to honor others with your attention, and for this you're let into a circle of equally gracious people.
LEO: Romance comes to your life like a cat. Chase it, and it runs away. Ignore it, and it purrs at your feet.
VIRGO: Romance has funny moments. Cue up the laugh track inside your head.
LIBRA: Your cooking does something wonderful for a relationship.
SCORPIO: The one you're completely comfortable with is your best company this weekend.
SAGITTARIUS: Your tension melts away, and a romantic problem solves itself.
CAPRICORN: Dates have a fabulous time getting to know your family.
AQUARIUS: Your heart is hungry. Feed it by seeking to connect with quality people.
PISCES: You're vulnerable, and others relate to your humanity.
COUPLE OF THE WEEKEND: The Sagittarius/Aries love connection is a fireball of energy -- it's two fire signs connecting on every level, all at once. But when they inevitably discover where they have a difference of opinion, their fights can be explosive. Firm boundaries keep them from consuming one another's lives. Ultimately, this can be a winning, passionate combination, especially when each party is mature and experienced.

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)
We call it insight, you call it what you will. | |

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
