 An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. A stitch in time saves nine. Don't pack your laptop in checked baggage.
Huh?
Travel nightmares go with the holiday season like cranberry sauce and turkey. But with some common sense, a few extra minutes of planning and an effort to avoid certain travel  blunders, you can save yourself from hours of delays this holiday season, which looks to be a busier travel time than last year.
This Thanksgiving, the American Automobile Association expects 31.7 million drivers to hit the road for trips of 50 miles or more, up 2.6 percent from last year. Meanwhile, 25 million airline passengers are expected to fly over a 12-day period around Thanksgiving, according to the Air Transport Association.

I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
