Venus and Neptune align to illuminate the positive attributes of those you've chosen to love and be loved by. These cherished members of your inner circle may have nothing to do with your life's work, but they have everything to do with your ability to show up strong. Note how confident you become when loved ones cheer you on.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). You're the sign of beginnings, beginners' luck and being first. Use your natural astral gifts! Every new thing you try renders you more energetic and present to life.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Having too few rewards in your life has been cited as a cause for depression. It turns out that spoiling yourself was never such a bad idea after all. Make your list, and start enjoying life in big and small ways.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Impatience is a rejection of the "now moment" -- you know, the only moment you can ever fully live in? Thus impatience is, essentially, a rejection of life. The stars urge you to transform your impatience into awareness.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). Things happen to you that contradict the law of probability. This is how you know that you're on to something bigger than you can explain or indeed understand.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). The stars illuminate information that is not new, but rather, it is newly useful to you. For instance, you may find out everything that is expected of you. You'll feel confident in relationships when you know this.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (July 9). It's your year to prove to the world and to yourself that you can create whatever you set your mind to have, be and do. Many notice your good deeds in August -- the acknowledgement feels fantastic. Admission to an elite group is featured in September. Finances perk up with a change in your work during October. Leo and Sagittarius people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 4, 35, 32, 8 and 47.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Generosity is your nature. You give and give today, and in your giving, you perpetually make more. It's quite amazing, and even you may not be sure how you do it.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Skills that you don't consider particularly special are extremely valuable to someone else. The omens suggest you'll be nurturing others with the seeds of your knowledge. Who knows how many apples can come from one seed?

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You'll be entering into many conversations, including some you start with people you don't know. You harness your own personal power when you think ahead to what you'd like the outcome of the connection to be.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). You're what you have made of yourself. The theme today is in unmaking or remaking something about you. All of it is within your power, but you don't have to do it alone. A Scorpio is especially helpful.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). There's no act of kindness that doesn't benefit the world in some way. You may not see the benefits of your gentle, benevolent acts, but they have a real and powerful effect.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Your natural friendliness is put to great use today. Meeting one new person opens hundreds of future opportunities, taking you in exciting, glamorous and unforeseen directions.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Be assured, everybody has doubts, even the people who appear to be very confident. Articulate your own doubts, and you'll be able to create the remedy that will ultimately make them disappear.

FORECAST FOR THE WEEK AHEAD: As our universe shifts, the success model we humans hold is shifting, too. Being goal-oriented, ambitious and driven to chase big dreams is still an option, but there's a new manner of winning that is slowly becoming more appealing. People are learning how to attract success instead of chase it. Some are deciding to do less, have less and handle less in order to achieve more, enjoy more and soar. Liberating the spirit helps to manifest worldly desires. These shifts have to do with being in touch with unseen forces and especially our own feelings. The Cancer sun makes our emotions so obvious! Mercury enters Cancer, too, this week, helping our heads get the message that our hearts have been trying to impart. Monday brings the full moon in ambitious Capricorn. Consider approaching your own ambitions in an entirely new way. The laws of attraction can be applied with nearly instantaneous results. A harmonious "trine" between Venus and Neptune encourages sharing your dreams in a lighthearted, conversational way with people who are as enthusiastic as you are about life's transformations. Change occurs by way of gentle unfolding. Force is out. Power is in.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: From television's "Bosom Buddies" to mega-smash movie "The Da Vinci Code," actor Tom Hanks always delivers a natural and believable performance. Cancerians possess an innate awareness of human motivation -- essential knowledge for an actor. Hanks combines his warm and endearing personality with this intuitiveness to create characters we want to know and cheer for.

FullMetal Alchemist (48)

FullMetal Alchemist"Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth."

3 Wise-asses (15)

3wiseassesWe're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!) We call it insight, you call it what you will.

Ravings, rantings, and gibberish. (36)

DrewWhat is up FoCo? I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado. I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks. Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know! --Drew
