Page 2 of 3 have a fit Among the exercises Kimberly Britton recommends: Dips: Sitting on a step, bench, or floor, place hands next to your hips. Lift hips off the step and forward until lower back is touching the step, knees bent (easier) or straight (advanced). Staying close to step, slowly lower body until elbows are at 90-degree angles. At the same time, slowly flex one knee until leg is straight. Push up using your triceps, lower the leg and repeat, alternating legs for 1 to 3 sets of 12-16 repetitions, with a 20-30 second rest between sets. This exercise works the triceps and shoulders as well as the quads. Hamstring rolls: Using an exercise ball, place heels or calves on ball and slowly lift butt up, tightening the abs. Roll ball toward your butt, squeezing the hamstrings and keeping abs tight, back flat. Do 2-3 sets of 12-16 repetitions, resting about 30 seconds between sets. Bicycle: This is a good abdominal muscle exercise because it uses every muscle in your abs to create a strong, lean torso. Lie face up on the floor and lace your fingers behind your head. Bring the knees in toward the chest and lift the shoulder blades off the ground without pulling on the neck. Straighten the left leg out to about a 45-degree angle while simultaneously turning the upper body to the right, bringing the left elbow towards the right knee. Switch sides, bringing the right elbow toward the left knee. Continue alternating sides in a ‘pedaling’ motion for 12-16 reps. One-legged Squat with Shoulder Press: Stand with right foot on resistance band and left foot lifted a few inches off the ground, holding onto a chair for balance. Bend knee and lower into a slight squat (butt back, knee behind toe) then raise right arm straight up over your head. Do about 16 repetitions then switch to the other side.

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)
We call it insight, you call it what you will. | |

| | Hola Amigos! I'm Sandra. I like to believe that people are 70 percent good and 30 percent dumb. I'm stickin to that story. Reading this blog might make you want to be good, but probably just dumb. | |

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
