Time is slippery this morning, as the moon, void of course, seems to grease up the moments and cause them to slither through our grasp. But as the moon moves into Libra, we find that if we team up others will help us account for the ticking clock. Having someone bear witness to your minutes makes you use them up with greater gumption.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). Trust your creativity. In some areas it's still undeveloped, but your raw impulses lead to money nonetheless. Taurus or Leo people shepherd your way through.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Sometimes things are more right when they go all wrong. You'll emerge from a humbling scenario as a better person. Look for opportunities to bring in additional income through part-time or overtime work.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Your plan is in motion, though perhaps only in your mind. Anyway, powers come to your aid when you act as though you already have a force behind you. Be bold. Be big. Be mighty.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). Many new demands come into your world, and the old ones aren't going anywhere. The result is a glut. If you keep your optimism, people and events organize themselves. Miraculous!

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). The philosopher Albert Camus said, "In the depth of winter I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer." You find yourself similarly remarkable now, and others thrive around your bright glow.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (Jan. 9). The twinkle in your eye is due to your inkling that the best is yet to come! Indeed! Past efforts will sustain you while you gear up for a reinvention of your career in February. Your faith in your ability is of utmost importance. Seeking information from the very best sources will be key to your success. Aries and Gemini people are your benefactors. Your lucky numbers are: 6, 36, 22, 1 and 5.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You get snarled in the neediness of others, but you don't mind a bit. Humans are fragile. You find beauty in it. So it's easy for you to be tender when tenderness is so obviously required.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). You know your loved ones quite well and can therefore operate like an expert oddsmaker. In many cases you state exactly what's going to happen before it does. But that doesn't guarantee they'll listen.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). The art of finance is your realm of expertise now. Being frugal makes you creative. If you had all the money in the world to spend, you wouldn't do any better than you do today.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Your plans seem to whir and blur around you. Welcome to life in a blender. But this evening, your buttons are no longer being pressed and you can relax, perhaps with a blended drink of your own.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Sure, you're fabulous under pressure, but who needs it? When you refuse to obligate yourself, you'll find you're in the unique position to give joyfully, voluntarily and more than anyone expects.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). You're modeling for those who look up to you. Your success secret is a simple one: When you fall, get up. This, done consistently, relentlessly and often, is what makes you a winner.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). It's your enthusiasm that makes you popular. Friends call you just to hear you say "Atta boy" or "Go girl!" and they aren't disappointed. Even if they have nothing to report, you find something to praise.

FORECAST 2007 — TAURUS:  This is a year of opening for you. You're ready to accept that your way, though it's gotten you this far, isn't the only way. Meaningful events are often small this year, but what blossoms out of them is a profound and vibrant way of seeing your world.

LOVE: It's about time you started accepting adulation — no more getting embarrassed! You deserve to be doted on, and there are remarkable individuals who actually need to give you attention — it fortifies their soul. In a weird way, this is your year to give by getting.

CAREER: You seek greater influence over your working environment and get it just as soon as you step up your personal discipline. Smart habits are lucrative ones. Beware of dicey situations in November that may massage your ego, but do the same for your wallet.

ADVENTURE: It's up to you to pack excitement into your year. If you don't make the effort, adventure won't come hunting you down this time. Your adrenaline pumps through June. October is a winning time to take your vacation.

FINANCE: You aren't about to let unconscious attitudes about wealth keep you at the same level. That's why January and February see you trying on new ways of thinking and educating yourself.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: Petite rock dynamo Pat Benatar has been hitting us with her best shots for almost 30 years. Capricorn is the sign of climbing, and music charts have been Benetar's mountain of choice. Working her way up the charts side-by-side next to her faithful guitar-playing husband Neil Giraldo, Benatar proved that little girls with big voices could trample over any supposedly "tough" rock 'n' roll guys.

FullMetal Alchemist (48)

FullMetal Alchemist"Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth."

3 Wise-asses (15)

3wiseassesWe're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!) We call it insight, you call it what you will.

Ravings, rantings, and gibberish. (36)

DrewWhat is up FoCo? I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado. I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks. Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know! --Drew
