The Libra moon has a well-honed aesthetic and wants us to look at the potential loveliness in all things, but especially things thought of as utilitarian, ugly or mundane — like wastepaper baskets, strip malls, the lids of jars and odd things cast to the side of the road. Let your inner artist emerge to find beauty in your everyday world.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). Conversation is easy. Communication is difficult. The closer you are to a person, the more difficult it becomes. Because of your history together, the present is impossibly layered with innuendo.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You have trepidations about some friends. Are they keeping a secret from you, or is it just your imagination? Be honest about your feelings. If they're true friends, then they'll be honest also.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). When it comes down to survival of the "fittest," it's about being the most adaptable to the environment. Although things are changing rapidly for you right now, you'll thrive if you're flexible.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). The stars give you an extra dose of self-discipline. Use it to be proactive. Tonight, you're being rushed into a decision. Be strong. Friends are sounding boards when you need an objective opinion.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). It may be a workaday world, and though you're not averse to working in it, this by no means defines you. Your creativity emerges to get some air. Then evening brings sudden, irrational joy.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (Jan. 11). Striving brings strife. So this year you decide to take it easy and let life come to you. The care, talent and intelligence you put out are enough to attract what you've long wanted. This month brings a financial breakthrough. Great love lifts your spirit through the spring. You've an especially nice groove with Scorpio and Taurus people. Your lucky numbers are: 6, 1, 33, 20 and 14.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You're expecting to be buoyed by something big. However, happiness doesn't occur only after events of consequence — it's the unexpected snapshot of life that revives your spirit.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Someone you've been at odds with is now ready to make reasonable concessions. Are you willing to compromise, too? Singles find love at the bookstore, library or an institution of learning.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Your reputation for delivering the goods brings positive P.R. your way. Friends refer you to a job or romantic connection. This evening favors reconciling your financial records.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). A strange disorder rules your house. Distraction leads to clutter. Somewhere among the business cards, coupons and random bits of mail there's a clue about where you left your heart.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). You're in a powerful cycle, and there are people nearby who desperately want your respect. You may have to walk cautiously to avoid stepping on the names they'll drop.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). The personal work you've done lately brings social benefits. The thing or person you're waiting for is waiting for you, too. One terrific new person can open an entire world of adventure.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You're inventive and sharp, but be careful not to overdo things. It's the simple idea that takes off like a rocket. A Gemini or Sagittarius person can help you fill a tall order the easy way.
FORECAST 2007 — CANCER: This year isn't designed to keep you comfortable, but you're handsomely compensated for any inconveniences you experience. Chalk it up to the costs and rich rewards of personal growth. January brings just the risky opportunity you need to start this year off on a high note.
LOVE: Your environment greatly affects your love life in March, so make sure to put yourself in situations with people you admire and aspire to be like.
CAREER: New friends help you land in a prime position in April. Keep your contacts strong all year with your caring attitude, remembering birthdays, calling often, etc. A deal you put together in March plays out beautifully, setting you up for a nice payoff in November.
ADVENTURE: You aren't even trying to fill your life with thrills, but it happens anyway, especially where children and playful family members are involved. You're good to go in June and will be invited to far-out places.
FINANCE: You're feeling generous now, but by March it's time to be budget-conscious. Cut out the extras, and put all your energy and resources where you're likely to get a fruitful return.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: She's graced the big screen alongside luminaries such as Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton, and now gracious Capricorn Amanda Peet is holding her own in "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip." A stage-trained New York City actress, Peet utilizes her Capricorn discipline and drive to craft a consistent and successful career. I see her recent marriage to David Benioff and the pending arrival of their first baby as the culmination of a well thought-out balance on all sides of Peet's life.

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!

| | My name is Michelle Turley and I'm 28 years old. I live in Severance with my hubbie, Brandon. We have 2 dogs and a cat. We enjoy camping, four-wheeling, and just being in the mountains. I like to cook, clean (go figure), flea market, and play poker. I have so much to say about poker... | |
