Rat terrier lost in Colorado turns up in Tennessee |

A rat terrier named Daisy that disappeared from her yard in Colorado has been reunited with her owner after showing up some 1,300 miles away in Knoxville.
Two-year-old Daisy was found wandering down the sidewalk on Christmas night by Tracie Crass, who assumed the 12-pound dog had slipped out of its home amid holiday festivities. Crass brought the pooch to her porch and waited for its owner to come looking for it.
When no one showed up by the next day, Crass telephoned the number on Daisy's rabies tag. She reached Daisy's veterinarian, who contacted Daisy's owner, Vonda Lundstrom of Aurora, Colo.
With help from Knoxville's Young-Williams Animal Center, Daisy flew home on Wednesday.
"SHE LOVED ON ME"
The reunion at Denver International Airport was memorable. "She licked me. She loved on me," Lundstrom said. "I have my baby back, that's for sure."
Lundstrom has no ties to Knoxville and she assumes somebody stole Daisy. | Only registered users can write comments.

I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
