 Forget his tall, dark, handsome look. Lancome says it was his talent and work ethic.
Clive Owen, who stars in "Children of Men," was selected as the new face for Lancome's new men's grooming products, including a fragrance and anti-aging skin-care line.

"The way he has built his career so far, privileging the quality of the director rather than the high-profile nature of a role, makes us feel very confident in the fact that if he chose to accept this collaboration with Lancome, then it truly means our partnership was meant to be," said Odile Roujol, general manager of Lancome International.

WHO IS HE
Owen, 42, was nominated for an Oscar for his role in 2004's "Closer." His screen credits also include "Gosford Park" and "The Bourne Identity."
The British actor joins a stable of other well-known faces in Lancome ads: Top models Daria Werbowy and Shalom Harlow are spokeswomen, and Uma Thurman and Isabella Rossellini previously appeared in ads.

I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
