Disney has its hands full again. Nevermind all the subliminal sexual innduendos that go into such films as Lion King. This time the harrassment came straight from a furried paw, hand, glove thingy. A few days ago, someone got Tiger-slapped by T-I-double Guh-ER at Disneyland or World, whatever. Anyways, the whole thing was caught on tape.
So the whole world is disgusted and dismayed at this family-friendly company; eroding moral values and eliciting violence by allowing such a low-life to work in a family-themed park wearing a orange fur suit and disporportinate head. It was all over the news with in a couple of days. the father and son sitting side by side with the lawyer on all the morning talk shows. "Good Morning from Today, Tigger gets rabunctous and not so playfully pats tween across face." Million dollar smile, "Let's go to Al." (None of that were real qoutes by the way).
So sad, right?
What's sad is that the family will more than likely take an undisclosed settlement out of court, maybe even in the millions, from Disney for a very weak and pathetic sucker punch from Tigger. Sure, Tigger shouldn't have been so upset about his stripes, but did you watch the interviews with the family? After the inicident, which happened mid-morning I believe, the kid woke up the FOLLOWING morning with 'neck-pain'. Then as the father stated, "I didn't take any chances, and we rushed him to the hospitol. P-L-double E-SE. Even more classic was the TEENAGER's response to the anchor's question of pain. "Well I'm feeling pretty good now because I'm on medicine."
For Christ's sake. The neck pain suddenly appeared the following morning without any indications of problems before hand? Is it possible that he woke up with a stiff neck from sleeping on a hotel bed? Besides the hit was Weak. This kid has never been in a pillow fight before? Ever played sports, ever left his room? 1 in 4 women get raped and we're covering Tigger like it's the greatest atrocity to mankind.
These people better bask in there 15 minutes of fame and then get the hell out of doge. Otherwise, I just may have to show up at their front door with a Tigger suit on.

haha! Written by Pikachu on 2007-01-10 07:43:32 I did see the "hit" on TV. It was more than weak. I hope that family got some sympathy from someone for their act, cause they aren't getting any from me. |

Ravings, rantings, and gibberish. (36) writen by: Drew What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)
We call it insight, you call it what you will. | |
